The 2010 Laura Branigan Spirit Of Love Memorial Gathering

Other Half Entertainment, The Laura Branigan Management and Production Company, and LauraBraniganOnline.com, The Official Laura Branigan Website, host the 2010 Laura Branigan Spirit Of Love Memorial Gathering on Long Island, New York, close to where Laura last resided.

This sixth annual fan gathering will celebrate the life, artistry, and legacy of the legendary Laura Branigan.

The event will be held August 13 - 15, 2010 at the Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma. For traveling convenience, flights can be made into Long Island's main regional airport, Islip/MacArthur Airport, also located in the town of Ronkonkoma. Complimentary shuttle service is provided by the Hilton Garden Inn to and from the airport as well as to the nearby Long Island Railroad’s Ronkonkoma Station which offers direct access to and from New York City’s Penn Station for connection to major New York City airports.

The weekend will be filled with remembrances of Laura through LOTS of video footage, including her film Backstage, music videos, 1990 SRO concert, TV series appearances, interviews, other performances, and additional exclusive video that can only be viewed from the Other Half Entertainment archive collection, including Laura's final band performance from 2004.

There will also be a memorabilia display, where attendees are invited to bring items they have collected over the years, and a trivia quiz to test your LB knowledge, complete with first, second, and third place prizes awarded.

During the weekend, we will travel to the ocean for a Beach Memorial, and also hold a Candlelight Memorial at the hotel.  In addition, registrants are encouraged to share their thoughts about Laura during the Fan Forum time.

We will be continuing our casual Sunday outing, with a traditional stop in Westhampton Beach and a drive by Laura's home in East Quogue. We're working on the details for the rest of our Sunday outing, looking for additional interesting spots in the Hamptons.  For those who need to begin travel home on Sunday, the casual Sunday outing is an optional part of the weekend, with all the main event activities taking place on Friday and Saturday.

Participants will receive commemorative event material, including a program, event T-shirt, and a unique event tote bag/backpack (pictured below).
