I HAVE ALL SEASONS ON DVD! HAHA
It used to be on Channel Nine in Australia I think (I don't remember it's original run)
and now they repeat on TV1.
It's not a bad show, but I regret spending hundreds of dollars buying all of the DVDs :confusion-scratchheadblue: .
I think I have to be in the right mood to enjoy Married with Children.
The comedy is similar (I think) to a once-popular Australian comedy Kath and Kim and maybe even Kingswood Country,
both of which I quite like also.
Having said that, those older shows are MUCH better than most of the new stuff both in Australia and overseas, haha.

In Poland that have been a very popular series in the middle of the 90's as we started to get all the stuff from the "West"... Al Bundy is a legend to that way, that in Poland they produced a similary storey about a familiy like the Bundys, but in polish reality :-D

The serie became very very popular as they promote the polish absurdal situations in normal live :D The serie is called "Świat według Kiepskich". You can translate this like "The Kiepski's World" by knowing that Kiepski can be translated as a thing wich is very poor quality (Here the name of the Family).

Yes, married with children was a funny show, I didn't get to watch it very often, but found it entertaining.
Sounds like some people really got into watching it!!! :greetings-wavingyellow:

My uncle fro Australia have the whole 2 seasons of Polish version of "Married with Children"! He showed it his kids. They teaching Polish language by that! Haha, "Marian, star pierdołoło! Helena, nie mam czasu na twoje narzekania!" is one of the funny dialogues in "Married in Children" (Polish)
