I WOULD LIKE TO START BY SAYING THAT I DID NOT REALIZE THERE WERE THIS MANY MIXES OF HER SONGS AND I WOULD CERTAINLY SECOND DTR8368 WISH TO GET THE REMIXES ON A CD.

:banana-dreads: THE MIXES I LIKED THE MOST IN MY HUMBLE OPINION FOR WHATS ITS WORTH ARE 1. GLORIA DJD'S FLASH BACK 80'S REMIX 2. GLORIA MARC ANDREWS 1999 SHORT MIX 3. GLORIA SIMON SALETTI ELECTRO MIX 4. SELF CONTROL BOOTLEG ADAMZMIX 5. SPIRIT OF LOVE REMIXED ( INCLUDED SOME BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OF LAURA AND HER FAMILY) :happy-partydance:

AND HONOURABLE MENTIONS GO TO SHATTERED GLASS 12" MIX HD 1987 AND MOONLIGHT ON WATER REMIX BOTH HAVE VIDEOS THAT ARE A MUST SEE. :greetings-clappingorange:

Je n'aime pas les remix sur les chansons de Laura, je préfère les originaux qui ont beaucoup plus d'intensités surtout moonlight on water.

According to the remixes I actually don't like the new versions of Laura's songs either Gloria nor Self Control, maybe because I do not like this kind of dance-trance-disco music... and they only hurt the songs remixing them in such way - using synthesizers without any clue is a sin - using them to make remixes is what I don't get; only base and drum using in15% of the song length the original melody... You can make such great arrangements using these instruments properly.

I mean of course the times have changed and you had to go one with the music, but not everything remixed is always a good thing... What I like is "Turn the beat around" and "Dim all the lights" as Laura's new versions of classical songs - remixes? Not really, only new versions :-)

But back to the topic - My first and only "Solitaire" (Extended Mix) and "The Lucky One" (Jack White Remix) as a very good remix example - with a little enhancement to the synths line would work great even nowadays :banana-guitar:

I don't like any remixes. I like the original songs.
