I may have to change my vote.............

I've been watching "Didn't we Almost Win it All" on YouTube, and the close-ups of those incredible eyes give me physical chills, like walking out on the coldest day you ever knew without a coat.

"And I try to see right through you, but it's all in vain."

Is it?

I love all of LB's music videos, but I can't pick any two as my absolute favorites. I love "Solitaire", "Moonlight On Water", etc. My Fave, if I would have to pick one would be "Dim All The Lights". I remember seeing/hearing it for the first time New Years Eve 1995. I was at the Tradewinds Bar and I was dancing with a friend and this video came on, at first I started singing along because I love this by Donna Summer then I looked up at the video screen (which was huge!) and there was my old friend LB on the screen, having a great time with all her drag queen friends. It made me really realize how much I had missed hearing LB!!!! I stopped dancing (much to my dancing partners dislike!) and finished watching the video! Just as the video ended, it was the countdown to the New Year! So I kinda felt like I spent New Years Eve with our beloved Laura. At that moment I felt so close to Laura, as I never had before. I still had all the Lp's but then I started buying the Cd's too. A few years later I lost all the Cd's when my apartment was robbed. I still have not been able to replace "Branigan 2" or "Hold Me" (thank God I have the Lp's & Cassettes still!).

for me "Self Control" is really fantastic and mysterious, maybe some day I can see in one DVD with all Laura videos.
"Shattered Glass" is another fabulous video...and of course "The Lucky One".

That's easy for me. "Cry Wolf" has to be her most poetic. "Self Control" is my other favorite. I do sway more toward Cry Wolf, though, because she is so beautiful, with the wind blowing through her gorgeous thick hair, in those white bedroom clothes, and the shot where she goes up to the moon and just reaches out.
Breathtaking. Plus those shots of people jumping around fire. Mesmorizing. Her videos were more artistic than those trashy dancing videos that Madonna put out...pun intended! :P

I like all the videos of Laura mentioned so far.
I will pick "The Lucky One". LB looks as though she really had a fun time making that. I'll bet she enjoyed every second with that garden hose spraying the dude! Then there is the maid being tripped into the pool! We have a guy at work that pulls stuff like that ALL the time, I have got him back the odd time too, as I can be a sheep sherbert disturber myself the odd time! (could be my Leo coming out, us Lions pounce once in a while). When I hear "the lucky one", I always think how lucky we all are that LB found her voice and perseverred through all her trials to give us all her wonderful songs. We love you Laura.

I love them all but Cry Wolf is my favorite. The part where Laura looks like she's howling at the moon sends shivers down my spine. Also, I love her big 1980's hairdo. That IMHO was the best time period ever as I consider the music and clothing/hair styles the absolute best. :-D Of course, I would listen to Laura sing anything, pre or post 1980's

For Me It Would Be A Toss Up Between Self Control And Spanish Eddie.

About A Year Ago I Went To A Masquerade Party And Waited Too Late To Get A Good Mask, So I Had To Get One Of Those White Masks That You Paint, I Dodn't Paint It Though So It Looked Like That Guy In The Self Control Vid, OMG, That Mask Was Genuinly Scary, It Gave Us All Chills Down Our Spine.
I'll Never Forget That Because I Had A Piece Of Lasagne That Night And For The Next Week... Well, Let's Just Say... I Couldn't Speak Without Puking. :occasion-balloons:

And I Like Spanish Eddie Because It's Soooo... Eighties :text-lol: !
