Might seem like a strange comparison, but I seriously think the beginning of "Living a Lie" sounds so much like "Runaway" with the fast keyboard/guitars... and the rest reminds me of another song from BJ's 1984 debut album called "Burning For Love". Everything from the tempo and musical style, even the way they both sang really passionate and emotionally.

Also, "Heart" on that "I never knew somebody would do it" sounds like a softer version of Runaway.

I wonder if Jon was/is a Laura fan, even subconsciously it might've seeped into the band's early music. Even in their hair metal days, they had quite a few more of those heartfelt and emotional heavier songs like "I'd Die For You".
