I put a bunch of my remixes on a CD and gave it to a friend who loves Laura ALMOST as much as me! He couldn't thank me enough. That was actually three years ago, but he insisted when I saw him a few months ago that he STILL listens to it!

Hi folks, I just got my first "good" cell phone, it has a mp3 player on it (with speakers, you don't need headphones). It is thru Verizon, anyway, I bought several Laura songs to listen to. Gloria, Solitaire, How am I Supposed To Live Without You, etc. 5 in all. My co-workers love her voice and many remember how beautiful she was! One co-worker went out and ordered all of her Cd's from Amazon, how great is that! I love turning on folks to Laura and let them know she was far more than a dance artist! Laura's ballads can bring forth all the feelings that we all have! To make a listener feel the emotions that are in the song they are singing is the sign of a truly great artist! Blessings, Randy

That is great. My youtube channel has turned on many people to Laura. It is a great feeling to help generate new fans.

Speaking of cell phones, I would love a Laura ring tone.

I also have a Laura ringtone!

Did it the easy way though. I just used my phone to record a bit of "Forever Young" from my laptop and put it as my ringtone. Too bad I don't use my phone very much!

I introduced my girlfriend to Laura's music by having the Touch album playing in my car while driving to see the new Bond movie (her choice!). I made sure I stayed away from the song Touch (one of LB's more passionate songs), as we are taking things slow as we have both been married before, so neither of us are in a big hurry. She lives 3 hours away from me, so I ordered a greatest hits album and gave it to her for the drive home. I'm trying to do what I can.
I also played some of "Bad Attitude" at work last week, after a little blow up due to some inter office friction.
I suggested a fellow employee should play "Over You" to her ex-husband, as he can't seem to get over her after 5 years apart.
Thats it for me lately. :)

I wish Laura had tried her hand at "Heaven is a place on earth" (by Belinda Carlisle), as I really like that song, and would be curious what it would sound like with Laura singing it. I really like LB's version of "Hero".

That is going to be hard to top John!
Maybe Mugsy's Girls, or some unknown home movies of Laura at a family re-union?

I made a suggestion on youtube the other day that a CD needs to be made of hard to find songs by LB. Example, Sharpshooter, Heart of Me etc.
I suggested it should be called "Rare Hot Ones" by LB, and would use the cover photo from the "Self Control" album, with a BarBQ photo shopped in, so it looks like Laura is BarBQing a nice juicy steak to perfection!

Dang, my mouth is watering already, as I can almost smell the aroma! (Laura was a fine cook from what I have read, anybody ever taste her cooking? --You lucky devils!)
Well, gotta go, I am late for supper.

Her appearance on Monsters, CHiPs, or Automan? I will check youtube and if they are not there, I will start editing them into youtube size chunks.
