Thanks,
I know it's not really on topic, but it beats having this place so empty...

She's my northern star
I don't count my possession
All I call mine I will give her completely
To the end of all time

On Wednesday June 1, 2011 at 1:16pm, Montreal's Q92 played Self Control. My boss actually heard it playing first and announced it to me over the intercom for the whole office to hear. Thanks Rick!! :handgestures-thumbup:

On Thursday June 2, 2011 at 12:14pm, Montreal's Q92 played, believe it or not, Ti Amo. Well how about that? Again, Rick heard it first, but shouted it from across the office. Thanks again Rick!! :handgestures-thumbup:

On Friday June 3, 2011 at 9:44am, Montreal's Q92 played its regular standby Self Control. This time I was there when it started playing and Tony, one of the employees, said that since he started working there and got used to me cranking up Q92 for Laura's songs, he has gotten more and more interested in Laura. I showed both Rick and Tony pictures of Laura on the net and showed them LBOL and me at SOL. When the saw my custom LB shirt I wore on the Sunday outing, their mouths dropped.

On Sunday June 5, 2011 at 9:46pm, American Top 40, the 80's show, hosted by radio icon Casey Kasem on Star 92.9, now every Sunday evening (Mt Mansfield, VT) played "Self Control", which placed number 11 for the week ending June 2, 1984. A trip to the past straight to the heart of the rock era. Billborard ranks 'em, AT Top 40 counts 'em down. 4 full hours of classic 80's. It doesn't get much better than that. You go Casey!!!!

Two reports to make, niether are spectacular, but a reason to post on the forum!
Roxette posted a youtube video of LB's version of 'Sweet Hello, Sad Goodbye', (which Roxette originally recorded as the B-side to their song "Spending My Time"), on their official Facebook page, with the note:
"This was written for the Joyride-album but didn't make it........ Wound up somewhere else with Rox, can't remember..... Single b-side, maybe???".
Also, the music vid fro "Gloria" played on 'rage' last night (an Australian overnight music video show on the ABC), at about 4.45 am (primetime, I know! haha). I didn't see it, but it was on their website.
