Hey! I missed you guys too. It’s been a rather rough road these past seven months, going that long without employment was really pushing the limits. It’s tough being a graphic artist in today’s world. Especially with the economic mind tricks that are going on. Also the demands that are put on you with limited budget and low grade technology being applied. It’s enough to give even Elmer Fudd a headache! We wont even mention what it would do to Mr. B Bunny!

Yeah I wish I could have made it this year but it’s how life goes some times. I definitely want to be there for 2011. My hat is off to you Vince and Kathy, you two do so much here. It’s pretty awesome how you keep the fans in touch with Laura and her music. Hopefully I’ll be moving at some point here and finally be able to enjoy my collection of music as I once did in the past ( I refer to this as my past life, as it’s certainly NOT my current! ). Hate having to wear headphones all the time dern it! Besides that, it muffles my guitar’s sound through them and I can’t stand that.

I should be stopping by here more frequently now that I have internet and such again. Love reading the new posts and welcomes to fans that only recently discovered this website. It’s a joy to see how the fans show their appreciation and respect. Keep it up everyone, see you soon!

-Rob

Friendly smile upon your face, for a moment in time, warm embrace...
Never once for that moment did I ever think I'd feel this way again.

I Live for today, tomorrow may never be...
Looking to the heavens to find you watching over me.
It must be the eyes, eyes of an angel..

All I call mine I will give her completely

I am just a man

Hehehehe, thanks! You know, being out of work for 7 months, got me into some REALLY bad habbits of staying up till 3 or 4 in the morning some nights. I'd do some graphic designs, play a few games, but the entire time I'd be listening to music of all kinds and you know Laura was part of it. So now I'm having to be up at 6am every morning to be at work by 7:30??? Oi! Let me tell you, this like when I was actually playing around in Texas doing acoustical shows. I'd travel all night, sleep when I could then get up and get ready for my performance then off I went again. So staying up till 2 to 3 am then getting up 4 or 5 hours later, wow! Talk about having a relapse from the past!

I sit here at my desk with my eyes going @.@ while I try to make sense of the orders coming across my desk. Let me tell ya, this is going to take some getting used to again ha! Sadly the internet here is so bad where I'm at, I can't stream any music like I did at my previous job. They don't allow radios or mp3 players, so I get no music while I work. But on the bright side I get off of work early enough to go and enjoy music in my car and home when I get there. Guess it's something to look forward to at the end of the day.

Branifan, have you done anymore recording experiments lately? It's been a long time since we last spoke of such things. I know I went guitar crazy for a month or so. Between that and my photography I keep myself pretty entertained. Just wish I could record my music at home, would be cool! Soon as I can fix the issue with my computer so it doesn't BSoD all the time, I'm going to look into some recording software for it. :banana-guitar:

Laters all!
