For The Good Times...I have it on my MP3 player as with several others of Ray Price, he was aclass act, also. I knew what you were saying about calling cattle. I am into what a song says, so I love ballads, country or other. One of my favoite albums, growing up, and to this day is Marty Robbins, "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs". I do love a variety of styles though.

Marty Robbins was one of the greatest. Ballads are the best. Nothing like a little story to go along with a great jingle. Remember Buck Owens (My Sweet Sweet Rosie Jones) and Roy "pickin' an grinnin" Clark. Can you say "HEE HAW".
Of coarse I'm a hick at heart. I'm just having a little trouble turning the
"big 5 0". I even like to listen to Neil Diamond and, dare I say it, Barry Manilow. But, as I get closer to turning the corner, Laura's ballads seem to be all I listen to. Of course, her rendition of "Turn the Beat Around" is my favorite tune to fight the traffic through Hartford with. Please don't tell the CT. State cops, I've never received a traffic ticket in my 34 years of driving
